Where it all
began...
My love affair with calligraphy began 5 years ago in 2019 when I was planning my own wedding. What started as a way of creating the place cards I wanted, became an obsession. I loved the calm I felt with a nib in hand and sought out further training from experts in my field. Fast forward through a global pandemic (and a lot of time to practice) and 2 kids later and I still go back to my calligraphy nib every time I need a moment of calm amidst the chaos that can be daily life with a baby and a three-nager.
More recently, I've expanded my skillset further and have trained in hot foiling, embossing and debossing techniques. which I now do in house, using my very own platen press, Maggie. A classic, British made press, this machine ensures I have the capability to create my products personally, ensuring exceptional quality every time.

I'm extremely conscious of our impact on the environment and have spent years finding suppliers and processes with the best eco-credentials. This means I can rest easy knowing that my products aren't causing damage to the planet and you can enjoy stationery and signage that not only looks incredible but makes you feel good too.

Since launching Take Note Calligraphy in 2022, I have been fortunate to have worked with couples from all over the country and trust me when I say, I care as much about your big day as you do. I listen carefully to my couples and will work collaboratively with you to ensure your vision is brought to life, in a way that ensures your wedding day speaks of the essence of you.
